I
was born 1961 in Nueremberg and 1974, in the age of thirteen years, I
made my first little step into the world of playing music, doing
performance and playing theatre: I become a drummer in a schoolband.
From
1976 till 1984 I hit the drums in a lot of bands like Bluesbands,
Jazzbands, Popbands, Punkbands and so on. I think I didn`t miss any
style at this moment.
In
the year of 1984 my style of musicplaying changed totally, because I
met and after a chaotic session, I became a member of the band "Hautwexel".
This band was more than a traditional band . We created our own style
of playing and performing music: a mixture from punk, hardrock, jazz and noises with little showperformances.
From 1991 till 1994 I played in the jazz-avantgardeband "Mother Carey and the electric shavers"
and at the same time I also played as an drummer, keyboardplayer,
speaker and performer for the Pop-Avantgardeband "Kastura". I founded
both bands and we released some tapes and CD`s. With "Kastura" we played for example 1994 at the performancefestival "Art-Finale" and at the international musicfestival "Bardentreffen".
The
next very important step was 1992 the theatre "thevo" . I became a member of
this theatregroup, learned acting and composing, I have played since that
time as an actor in a lot of theatreplays and composing music for this plays . With "thevo"
I had and have performances
in Germany and sometimes we perform international for example in Italy,
the Czech-Republic, Ireland, Bulgaria, Austria, Africa (Zimbabve).
Since 1999 I work for thevo as the musical director and since 2004 also
with my wife Alexandra as the artistic director.
Besides this artworking I give lessons first steps into theatreacting
for students and people who are interested in.
Our biggest tours has been in the ukrain in the year 2001 with the play "Salamandra" and in Japan 2005 with the play "Bread and rice"
